The founder of Marroko, Mr. Marko Rokovic himself. An explorer since birth, he had always loved the thought of exploring the world with his best friend, said to be “Stribor Njihanovic”. Told in stories that they were friends from around age 7-13, they were inseparable. Until around 1860, when Stribor decided to go to India, as he deemed it a very lovely place to reside in. Saddened by his departure, and the fact their childhood neighbourhood in Cacak was becoming a husk of it’s former glory, he followed suit, and attempted to go to visit his friend once more, by trying to sail to India. However he made a large mistake and went to Mexico instead, which he deemed India, because he didn’t understand Spanish. He eventually found out it was Mexico, but by this point it is said his boat was broken beyond repair so he went on foot up north to find a nice place that reminded him of his hometown, and make a settlement there. He proceeded to find a valley with a large mountain unlike the rest of the terrain. It wasn’t like home exactly but it was close enough. He had settled, and started making a life. He was lucky that the mountain was told to be a promised land, by other newspapers in the US, which brought tourists and soon-to-be citizens to Marroko. They had started teaching him English, and by 1874, his former best friend came to visit. The grapewine had lead to India, where he saw in the press that a man named Marko Rokovic had started a town. They started reliving the life they once had as children and young adults, joyus it was they said, they had never seen Marko Rokovic happier. Unfortunately, in 1876, Stribor got the unfortunate news that he had tubercolosis, and that he was going to die in 2 years. This saddened the both of them-

A funeral was held, and he was buried near the rock formations inbetween North and Southern Marroko. With a now depressed Marko Rokovic, he had lost the will to live, but in 1888, the citizens of Marroko had convinced Marko to pick up a hobby, and to help them start the construction of a Town Hall. This encouraged Marko to continue life, and he oversaw the construction of town hall, and made sure there was a room for memory of Stribor. And, with construction finished in 1900, he was left happy. With years gone by, he was the spokesperson for the town, and still a mayor with an iron fist. People were happy, he was happy, it was like he couldn’t die. Medicinal records seemed to show that he literally could not die, his heart was strong like 10 tortoise hearts, meaning he would live likely a thousand years..
